“The Classic Route, Iran and Iranians” is a travel photography book, based on a journey around one of Iran’s most famous routes by photographer Donal Murphy. Designed by Ruza Lenko of Studio Suss and MM Art book Printing (Eamon Doyles “On”).
“In 2018 I went to Iran and travelled around one of countries most famous routes. I wanted to go to a country that not many western tourists would travel to.The idea was that this mostly unknown country would provide me with images that would surprise a lot of people.The whole experience made me fall madly in love with Iran and Iranians I was made to feel incredibly welcome by its people and blown away with Iran’s rich Persian culture and breathtaking scenery. With all this I believe the photos I took and present in the “Classic Route” will open peoples minds and make them think differently about the country of Iran.” – Murphy
