The Winding Stair has always been an important community space in the Dublin literary and creative scene. The bookshop is the perfect venue for hosting book launches, readings, exhibitions, and other cultural and creative events. If you are interested in holding an event in the bookshop, please contact us for details. The bookshop is also a proud supporter of local artists and writers. We stock work from self-published writers and smaller presses as well as the big names, and we have a range of cards and prints from independent artists. If you would like to stock your work in the shop, please get in touch. |

The Winding Stair Open Mic Night Join us on the third Friday of every month from 6:30pm-8:30pm for the Winding Stair Open Mic Night. All poetry, prose, and music is welcome provided it reflects the ethos of the bookshop - just be sound. Sign up begins at 6:30pm and readings begin at 7pm. |

Someday Duly Writing Group Someday Duly is a writing group welcoming all forms of writing and writers who are serious about developing their craft and breaking into the Irish literary scene. The group meets monthly in the bookshop. Please contact somedaywriting8@gmail.com for more details.
